With the global economy flush in the middle of being hit by the worldwide spread of novel coronavirus infections, on top of the U.S.-China trade friction, we are beginning to see foreign companies shift their production bases to other countries as a means to continue business and avoid the risk of excessive dependency on China, Northeast Asia’s so-called "workshop of the world." Therefore, this stage offers a comprehensive look into U.S.-China relations following the U.S. presidential election, the Chinese economy becoming the first financial system from a major country to achieve positive growth, and the responses of Japanese and other foreign-affiliated companies, as well as reports and exchanges of opinions on the actual conditions of business activities from the stance of companies operating in related countries, including the status of the supply chain.
